Pistol Courses
Pistol Fundamentals
This is a very comprehensive beginners course which far exceeds the requirements to obtain the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License. Students will learn how to safely handle, shoot, and properly store their firearm. This course will heavily emphasize on the fundamentals of pistol shooting. Students will need a chosen firearm and equipment such as at least 200 rounds of factory ammunition, 2 magazines, ear protection, eye protection, and note taking material.
This is not a $45 course where students shoot only 1 round in the dirt after an hour lecture on how to fill out your CWFL application.
This course is designed to teach the student how to shoot!

Home Defense
This course covers the importance of selecting the proper type of firearm, and equipment necessary for home defense. Students will be introduced to basic defensive pistol skills, defensive mindset, strategies for home safety, and much more. Students must be comfortable with their chosen firearm and equipment. For this course the student is required to provide no less than 300 rounds of factory ammunition, and at least 2 magazines, ear protection, eye protection, and note taking material.

Defensive Pistol Fundamentals I
So what happens after you obtain your Concealed Weapons Permit? This course goes over the skills that everyone carrying or planning to carry a handgun for personal protection should learn. We will address the appropriate mindset, essential skills, issues encountered in defensive situations, and much more. Students will learn proper pistol presentation, magazine changes. For this course the student is required to provide no less than 300 rounds of factory ammunition Students will need to be comfortable with their chosen firearm and equipment, and at least 2 magazines, ear protection, eye protection, and note taking material. Student will also be required to have a Kydex holster (No Serpa), gun belt, and 2 mag pouches.

Defensive Pistol Fundamentals II
The goal is to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to utilize a pistol in defensive situations with confidence. Students will learn proper pistol presentation, magazine changes, stoppages and immediate/remedial action, multiple threat engagement, moving and shooting, utilizing cover, and much more. Students will need to be comfortable with their chosen firearm and equipment. For this course the student is required to provide no less than 500 rounds of factory ammunition, and at least 4 magazines, and note taking material.

Defensive Pistol Fundamentals III
The goal is to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to utilize a pistol in defensive situations with confidence. Students will learn proper 1 handed pistol presentation, magazine changes, stoppages and immediate/remedial action, multiple threat engagement, utilizing cover, and much more. This will focus on working with one hand shooting both strong and weak hand. For this course the student is required to provide no less than 500 rounds of factory ammunition, and at least 4 magazines, and note taking material.

Defensive Pistol Fundamentals IV
The goal is to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to utilize a pistol in defensive situations with confidence. Students will focus on proper 1 handed pistol presentation, magazine changes, stoppages and immediate/remedial action, multiple threat engagement, 1 handed moving and shooting, utilizing cover, and much more. This course focuses much more on one handed moving and shooting and a recap of all the previous levels of training. For this course the student is required to provide no less than 500 rounds of factory ammunition, and at least 4 magazines, and note taking material

Zeroing your Rifle
This course will focus on the fundamentals and principles of properly zeroing your rifle. We will focus on the application to Scopes, Red dots, and iron sights. We will work on zeroing and understanding the differences on the distances to zero your rifle. Student will learn to become comfortable in zeroing their firearms and understanding the importance of NBP (Natural Body Position) in the application of zeroing your rifle. For this course the students are required to provide no less than 100 rounds of factory ammunition, the manual for their optic and a basic tool set. If possible, bring a rest, bags, or stand. I have limited availability to rests for students to borrow.

Rifle Fundamentals
This is a comprehensive Beginners’ course that covers semi-auto rifles platforms. Students will learn how to safely handle, shoot, and properly store their firearm. This course will heavily emphasize on the fundamentals of rifle shooting. Students will need a chosen firearm and equipment, such as manual for their optic (if applicable) 200 rounds of factory ammunition, 2 magazines, ear protection, eye protection, and note taking material. This will teach students how to be more comfortable with their semi-auto rifle platforms effectively.

Please contact the instructors if you haven’t purchased a firearm but are interested in taking this course. In order to take the Home Defense, Concealed Carry Essentials, and any other defensive course, students will be required to show competency in safe gun handling. Another option is to provide proof of at least one of the following: Our Intro to Pistol Course, NRA Basic Pistol, a basic pistol course from an accredited/well known training school or instructor. Sorry, the $45 course where you shoot one round in the dirt doesn’t count. Courses are limited spaces, to focus on the student.
